Good Afternoon all. dr dodge here.

I have been playing with mopars since I was 16 (1975). Totally mopar or nocar.
Retired physical measurement scientist for 45 years.
Currently live in Cypress Tx (in a styrofoan geodome)

I have a 72 4dr Dart (Dartman) that is going to be my everyday driver. Drove it in Houston traffic for years, road tripped it with my grandson to Forestville, NY 15 years ago.
and then parked it (outside). This spring I put a battery in it, filled the carb with gas, and as any 225 would, spun over a couple times and barked to life. After sitting outside for 15 years.

Body is rough, window rear fender rot, so the plan is to make it a wagon (more sedan delivery no rear glass) and take local road trips to video.
I have my own you tube channel. Dr Dodge Racing

I also pro race 1/64 scale cars (not very well...lol) and have my own race track, Goat Hill, which is a hill climb filmed to make it realistic looking.

My other cars and uncompleted projects:
2011 EI 392 Challenger Shaker hood 6spd
2005 Crossfire (mrs dr's)
'72 Challenger, bought in '79 as second owner, about 498K miles on it, was an everyday driver until '98 (needs lovin")
'74 Charger (street car done as a nascar stocker, iso deleted and body dropped almost 2")
1938 Nash street rod project on a d150 chassis
1958 W500 military firetruck poly block, eventually going to my brothers museum in NY.

lurked for a while, but I need to get out there and get the dart roadworthy again

A vid of Dartman alter I just fired it up

and I suspect I have the nastiest dash pad in NA :)

thank for letting me hang out!

Welcome aboard, Dr. Dodge! That used to be my nickname back in the day. Even had it on my van and business cards!
That's a big snow drift on the side of the road behind me. Kind of a crappy picture.

the old man an (I think) '62 d500 dump. the dump and lift was robbed from a wrecked truck,
they never got it to work. just ripped the rear frame up. 5 speed, poly, 2 speed rear end,
with a lot of patina

We have a couple more things in common besides the nickname. I lived in South Dakota in 1981-82 then I also moved to Texas (San Marcos) and spent 3 years there. That's when my new Texas friends started calling me Dr. Dodge because I had a 66 Coronet, then a 70' Dart along with my first '67 Barracuda. I had a blast there. I miss living in Texas for several reasons, but all my family is now in Minnesota which is where I'm originally from but also spent about 6 years in Ohio as a kid. We moved a lot because of my dad's job. My family lived in Fargo before I was born after they moved to Minnesota in the early 60s.
Cheers!
