Well I know I have kept most of yall busy with allot of my needs and questions :clock: I called my NAPA store this morning and got some bad news.
They do not have any spark plug wires for my 66 /6 170.

I could not believe they could not get a set of these,

they have a cover on the plug end to cover the tube.

So can some one steer me in the right direction to get a new set for my new installed ignition system.

If and when all else fails you might clean those covers and transfer then to the new wires. R&R the boot from the distributer cap ends.

Thanks RedFish, I will remember that, But I think Victoria deserves a new set.
I could not believe 66340SEDAN found some.
I will save the old wires and put them in this box that will stay in Victoria's turtle hull, Old term for trunk.8)

This set that showed up after my search this morning when I was looking for a set of plug wires.

Some one posted them around 1 pm today.

New and still in the box custom fit for /6.
Brother ken jumped on them for me wile he was here relaxing and
having a cold one, no make that two :drinkers:

they will be here in 2 to 3 busines days $33.00 counting shipping :cheers:

the vetteman e-mailed me.
Said he had another set new in box he would sell me $24.00 combine shipping with other set.
I bought them thinking some one could use the here FABO.

2 sets will be arriving in box instead of 1!

Could be some one could use them,:-k we will see.
the other co. wanted $37 plus shipping. 8)
And auto parts stores don't stock them or order them like that anymore.
 
Get 'em w/lifetime warranty @ Autozone, part # 4818, $16.19. The wires for a 198 or 225 will also work, but will be a little on the long side due to the taller block.

They showed me that wire set but they did not have the tube style covers on them, and said they cant order them, Napa eather.:clock:
 
Wow, I got a set of NOS slant 6 wires from fmmpar on ebay delivered for 38.00! Check him out.

My counterman told me today at NAPA that he could get them.
He made a line selection mistake. I knew Napa could get them.:cheers:
Cost $19.97. not a custom set, You put the dist ends on.
