Howdy guys, Currently running a 360 magnum in my duster with dougs longtube headers air gap intake avs2 carb, and factory stock Mustang GT mufflers (don't ask Lol) through 2.5" true dual exhaust with no X or H pipe.
ill be putting an oregon regrind cam #1169 (220/220 @ .050”, 282/282 adv, .498”/.498” lift(1.6:1 rocker), 112 sep)
in the motor soon and decided that i want to go a more aggressive route with the car in all areas.
The mustang GT mufflers sound good but they're too quiet for my current goal. Now what i do NOT want to do is go from one extreme to the other and over compensate. I had flowmaster 40s with dougs longtubes on a simmilar build in a Dart and HATED them.
they were migrane inducing and nothing short of obnoxious so my goal is to cut the difference and find a sweet spot in the middle. Louder than factory performance exhaust but quieter than Flowmaster 40s....
