Help to ID very Strange 426 Wedge Block

-
Yeah they called it "Hustle Stuff".
Ahh, yes! But even before that.... im betting this block is maybe 64-5 vintage. And those maxie nascar manifolds were then, or even earlier, as that program was dropped like a hot potato (at least for a while) with the advent of the gen2 hemi.

We have nothing now. All the new hemi boys got it all and they don't even know where it came from.

I found this fresh 426 Standard Bore block in my late
friends Shop (Tri City Perf) along with a bunch of regular
426 blocks. Greg (RIP) was a top Max wedge engine builder
and racer for decades.

It has provisions for 4 bolt mains but does not have them.

It has a lot of support ribbing that I have never seen on any
block in 60 years. I have seen a lot including Marine/Industrial/Race
blocks but nothing quite like this!

It is very heavy compared to my other blocks and very beefy!!

Perhaps aftermarket or a factory race block?

I appreciate any help as I have a Giant shop full of his stuff
to identify and sort out! It is rather overwhelming for me
and I am not a novice on Mopar race stuff.

I had / hopefully nobody stole it a block identical to this except it has 3 support ribs in the valley to keep it from flexing and the bosses by the main caps are drilled out and sleeved, the main caps are drilled and tapped for hemi style 4 bolt main support the block was punched 4/68 Mike landy DLi Dick Landy industries f/x superstock on the opposite pad . it came out of my 67 Plymouth Belvedere 2 purchased from MR Norms used the old lady i got the car from had it in her chicken coop her husband bought it used from Mr Norms Al smith was the salesman the motor had gas ported pistons the old man left specific instructions for the car when i got it. it carried the front end a good 2 ft in the air ran low 6 seconds in an 8th mile mid 10s in a quarter and the old man drove it on the street ! what you have is a special motor intended for either a drag race team or possibly a nascar team. im guessing most likely nascar .

This is identical to my block. It is definitely not a 413 block. I also have '69 and '72 413 blocks. Both blocks are clearly stamped 413 T on the pads and casting dates are clearly evident on the sides of the block. The other anomaly on my mystery block is that the bores measure 4.246 - 4.248. My "speculation" is that if these were intended for Nascar that they would be released unfinished so that the race team could have the cylinder walls finished to their spec.
