Help with !964 Dart GT Hood

My 64 Dart Gt was painted by the previous owner. I am trying to figure out why the hood will not stay open by itself. Any ideas on what could be the problem would be appreciated.

Are the torsion rods installed? A photo of your car with the hood open would really help solve the puzzle.

I will take some pics this weekend and try to post. I always have trouble resizing them for this forum.

Time to reset your camera,so you don,t have to resize to upload pics.Hope this helps.
