Here is your autonomous future, and it is here

What is amazing to me is these planet saving battery cars are being recharged by nuclear or a coal burning plant. And what these brilliant inventors have not solved is the length of time it takes
To fill these batteries up.
Yeah & made mostly of plastics, hippocrite comes to mind. South Park made the best episode about the "smug" Prius drivers

On my way home last night 3 times in a 3 mile drive by the naches river I had to swerve a bit from idiots talking on the phone , texting & a person looking at the passenger to talk to them...that 1 gets me pissed. You dont need to look at your passenger to talk to them.
Did you call 911 and ask for the texting police? Passing laws are easy, enforcing them is another story. No negative action will stop without consequences.

Was watching this young lady behind me today. She was doing everything but watching the road. Of course she was tailgating too. I moved over and let her get away from me. Then this other bonehead in a fart can equipped car had his stereo hitting so hard I could feel it in my car at 60mph. Then a 18 wheeler wanted my lane. All on 15 miles.

This is what we've been talking about. Most depts are unprepared for these obnoxious types of fires. Who knows, maybe they need aircraft / shipboard foam, etc You don't just extinguish these batteries
That's why I'm talking about it. Someone wasn't thinking wasting 30,000 gallons of water and no light bulb went off in their head about it. There are fire depts prepared to fight fires at electrical substations and this isn't the 19th century.

One could just imagine the dialogue as these morons were getting in the car. "No you sit in the back and I'll sit in the passenger seat. This car needs no driver, it's the car of the future, and you'll have a full warranty".

Warranty is VOID if the driver isn't actually driving the car!!

What? Really, You mean that heap of charred plastic isn't under warranty?
It's salvageable.................................just a little water damage and a small electrical fire..............Oh, also needs new battery???:rofl::rofl::rofl::steering::realcrazy:

So here's a smart fire department

Too bad they all couldn't have got together

No, I really do care what other people do as long as they don't hurt others in their stupidity, also I was driving & I don't text or talk on the phone. But I agree with you about consequences....i should put a camera on my truck, doing that I'd have evidence to support my claims. Or put a big push bar on my truck & make them pay the piper immediately

OK genius, maybe you should hit the phone and be sure to advise your local fire departments on how to fight fire. You ever consider, there might be something here you don't understand?
