hi stall converter

A friend had a converter built for his warm 340 w / .509 mopar purple shaft.
Converter builder said it will stall about 3500.
If it was installed in a stock 318 how would it behave?
..any guesses what rpm it may stall?

i may be buying the whole car and spare 340.
..won't know for a couple of weeks

That is close to a stock 340 converter. Will work good for any a-body car. Not for towing or a C-Body

If there isn't one, you may want to install an auxiliary cooler on it too, the stock radiator cooler was designed for the low stall variety and may not dissipate the added heat fast enough.
