Hi there, UK owner of a 64 Dart GT Slant Six

I am from the US but have lived in the UK for years, saw this for sale and I couldn't resist. I'm not a mechanic so I was directed toward this forum! I have a pretty major issue I'll make an appropriate post about, but for now happy to be here. Apart from said issue, the car is 95% original (I say 95% for the same reason hand sanitizer companies say 95%).

I've had some issues getting my posts along due to my VPN but I've disabled it for posting here so hopefully this goes through ok.

Sure thing! Here's the one I have to hand, I'll throw some more up later. It's in honest condition and has largely been problem-free. Rust where you'd expect it but the boot is in fairly rough condition. I've been waiting on registration so it's unfortunately sat on a driveway for 5 weeks. But I idle it frequently. At the moment it's dead, sadly the day after the registration came through. Ain't that a kick in the head.

Thanks everybody! Sorry for the delay! I nearly checked out of the mortal plane from the worst flu I've ever had. The car would have gone to my two year old son! Lol.

Scotland is wonderful. Fairly familiar with Motherwell via visits, we live in East Ayrshire. Roads are a little narrow so I'm glad I picked a Dart and not a Skylark.

Yup, I am dealing with some kind of bug now, came on really fast last night.

This week has been spent taking care of my wife who has since had a similar one. Just like you and me, came on fast, over about 30 minutes she went from fine to shivering in bed. I was so pleased she'd avoided getting mine.. oh well. Hope you're feeling better!
