has anyone done a hidden radio install? In glove box or under seat?
I have a secret audio hidden under the dash

I am not around car now but the only thing you see is the small display mounted under ashtray area and the remote. It does a good job. I still have the original so you can't really tell that it is not the one working. You can mount it anywhere out of sight.Would you happen to have pics? How do you like it?
I thought about getting a abs plastic glove box liner and maybe mounting a radio in there

-- It's a AM/FM, I'm not sure what brand it is. The previous owner put it there, and it's, mostly, covered on the front, by a piece of aluminum plate, that is part of the mounting bracket. - The actual glove box is not there. Just the door, for cover.- Which unit do you have? -
yes, but mine is several years old and display is different. I had the original one in my GTS converted to FM but it drifts off station a lot. The Secret Audio is a lot cheaper and better too so If I can't get it fixed I will probably go with Secret Audio in it too
The only problem with this system is that remote is IR so glove box needs to be open if I want o change anything.
You can buy an IR repeater that plugs into the rear of your deck & then route it wherever you'd like so you don't need the glove box door open for the remote to function.
