well i pulled this one out of the deep confine's of the shop the other day.i am being prodded to get started on it.this relic... once a beautiful 69 340 four speed formula S drop top air car, it has certainly seen better days.. believe it or not. i will now begin it's resurrection so that it will soon run the roadways in it's glory again. when you see the pictures you may well understand the project name i have chosen for this fish "HOLEY MACKEREL"

no i don't Mike. this was dismantled a few years back. pictures were taken then with a throw away camera. and i think that's what happened. LOL

so i'm getting in deeper.. i started the trim out today, not surprised at all. i knew it was bound to get worse before it gets any better.

Yikes. A ton of sheet metal work ahead of you.

This project takes a lot of guts!! I know it's rare, but is there any good metal on that car? I'm going to follow this and see what you can do.

That one is definitely rare enough to justify the effort. My 67 vert project is very solid but is what it is, a 67 slant 6 build.
I'll be following this thread for sure. Keep us posted :)

Just think, if you hadn't rescued it when you did and put it away in your shop it would have been a lot worse, or maybe even crushed (That isn't even funny!). LOL

the trim out is just about finished. i will leave the wheel houses in until after i have the rear body tied back together
