Ok....To make this somewhat understanding to those that dont know what the list number reffers to when ordering a gasket kit for your specific.holley carb ,heres some that ive seen in the past that might help for instance the number after the hyphin....4412.4412-.2.3. These are pretty much the same carb the 4412 with no hyphin is the first gen.or original.the hyphin and then the 2 after it refers to re-design 2.3.4.5.etc.not for cfm it will always remain the same 500 cfm it refers to some bowl parts to fuel inlets.to different metering blocks .because higher alttitudes require differant stuff to make the same for lower....the letter or letters refer to what type of 4412 you have like i have both 4412 -s which i beleive stands fo street ..its the same carb it just comes with bigger or smaller jets mine came with 70 size jets...the other 4412 i have has no numbers or letters came with 65 size jets .the other letters that some of the newer 4412-hbx for instance .this carb has been reworked to make 500 cfm but is for race apps only my 4412-s brand new was 345.99.this new hbx is 799.99.depending on where you go ......oh H BX may stand for hy-bread.xtreme.cause this carb has no choke blade its been shaved off.to open the carb up for better air flow.and less restriction.and theres always fuel type gas.semi race fuels turbo blue.cam-2.full race fuels,vp race fuels.etc. i usually refer to the base model of every holley carb.as a referance for when i rebuild or renew a carb .hope this was helpful ...DENNIS "CARB
