I have a Holley 4777 650 double pumper in my 318. I'm running a Mopar .528 solid cam, Performer RPM intake, headers and ported 318 heads. Compression ratio is 9.8/1. The distributor is stock with lighter springs and no vacuum advance, set at 13 initial.
The gas we have here is actually 80% gasoline and 20% ethanol. The carb came with 67-73 stock jetting and 6.5 power valve. The motor was misfiring at 3500 rpm with the primaries open and then at 6000 with the secondaries.
I swapped the jets to 69-75, but now the throttle response is not that good. I have some PVs here too, 4.5 and 3.5 I think.
I would appreciate any sugestion here.
Thanks
