anybody use them? i was looking at the fast trak that eastwood sells, it looks nice. is it easy to do at home? i'm so tired of driving all over town to try and find a shop that can align my car. what say you guys?

Wish you guys would post a LINK when you talk about stuff, I didn't find any kit:

but all you REALLY need is an accurate caster/ camber gauge. You can set toe with essentially a tape measure.

Just "ring a simple stand, scrap metal, wood, etc, to support a nail or other scribe. Jack up the wheels and support the car on the LCAs temporarily. Mark the tires on the tread with something like cheap silver paint, then while it's still wet, scribe a mark with your scribe device. Then to be accurate, you need two stands the same height so you get the tape the same height, and level, front and back of the tires. 'S all you need for toe.

For camber, I stumbled into a "bunch" of mostly Ammco stuff here locally -- and old Ammco set of turntables, toe gauge, and most important, a caster camber gauge. I don't thing I have over a hundred bucks in the whole deal.

Sell one for 60 bucks:

and if you Google around, there are PLENTY of ideas to make your own gauge on the www

Here's one easy one now:
