Why is it so difficult to find hood hinges for an a body.
I am looking to get a price before I decide to buy thenmm. But they must be in excellent condition or I will keep the ones I have
 
I got some. I hear ya on the shipping. It would be about 2 weeks to get to u even though they say 5-7 days. Unfortunately our USA shipped stuff goes east to Toronto Ontario first, then down to Chicago, Illinois. Then to wherever it’s destination is in the USA. Which really doesn’t make sense since I’m over on the western side of Canada. Kim

I have a pair also. I also have a pair of '73 and later which many on this forum seem to prefer due to their different hole layout creating more/better adjustability. I'm sure there are threads on differences if you search. Can send pics of hole differences if helpful.

Have a little surface rust but solid and not pitted...tension is smooth and not stiff

I have hinges.

the bottom one is 72 -76 That is the hinge you need if you have stationary hood nuts in the hood. as all 72-76 have.

The early hoods 67-71 the threads in the hood move for adjustment. This is what allows for the movement.

If you have the upper type with a 72 -76 hood or a fiberglass hood. you won't have enough adjustment.

I have both styles cleaned primed and ready to install. use cotter pins to hold them flush instead of the clips the hinges don't creak and rub the fender then. $110 shipped to your door. Put them right on. Not worn or bent taken from straight cars. Steve

That and a stiff neck from being broke in 3 places is why I went to a fiberglass lift off hood----------
