Hiya,
I like the looks of the Max Wedge hood scoop that was used on the 60's Ramchargers, so I bid on a fiberglass repo I found on ebay, and won it. I got it the other day. Its Huge!!! Not tall wise, but its too wide and a bit too long. It dosent match up to the contours of the hood. Didn't want the dual snorkel scoop. Is there a place that makes a smaller version of the Max Wedge scoop? Tried looking but couldn't find any? I don't want to try to cut back the one I just got. I'm not good at fiberglass jobs. Thanks, Tim

What is the dimension on it? Do you want to unload it? I got a 70 Duster hood with a hole in it were the previous owner put a scoop on it. The scoop it now missing. You got a pic of the under side?

27 1/2 inches wide from opening to opening. 24 1/4 inches across the rear.
34 1/2 inches long down the side. 2 1/2 inches at the opening.
Its heavy fiberglass with 9 mounting studs.
I bought it used from ebay and 4 studs are broken, need repair. Not sure if I want to sell it just yet.

You could try Doc Fibreglass or do what Mopar themselves did--- trim it until it fits. I know it sounds weird but I saw photos of the '68 S/S cars and they played around with alot of designs before the final one. Years ago a friend did that with just your type of scoop & wound up chopping off about 3ins. and not bolting a center upright to it so it was one wide scoop without a brace, Sure you didn't mean to use a '67 type scoop? They're com, pletely different.
