Sorry! This is not good! They bend like that for a Bad Reason!

Stuck valves.

Less than 9K original miles on a 1968 engine, look at how clean it is inside! I am still happy with it.

NO TP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????????????????????? Reverse course back to space station at warp speed I have diarrhea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Captain I'm giving her all she's got! I don't know if the plotnon reactors can hold much longer!..

How do you know you have stuck valves, vs no timing chain or skipped chain.

I had pushrods like that on a SB ford due to nylon teeth on a 150,000 timing chain. Plus I had canted valves!

Because those two valves are stuck.

Well, were.

#4 exhaust has moved some with some oil & time & patience.

#1 is still stuck, but oil takes time to work & I am in no hurry.

This is not my first rodeo. ;-)

I bent one like that on a 440 during a hot start up.
Drove it back home 15 miles put a new pushrod in it a few days later drove it for 2 years never had another problem.

How does one get stuck valves on a 9k mile engine?

It sat outside in a field for decades.

Stuck happens.

Date coded original spark plug wires, condensor, carburetor, everything.

It was a joy to find & study.

Way back when a wise man told me to keep a couple of spare things in my Mopar's glove box
