Some good info here, It really didn't surprise me much, You'll be amazed how light they really are, especially the 70-72s, I'm guessing these weights were with man. brakes, no PS or AC, just the basic model.

My BB 67 cuda weighs 3250 with frame connecters and 8 point roll bar. Only the block is steel, everything else on the motor is aluminum. Full interior and 3 inch exhaust.

My 73 came in at 3300#. That's with a half tank of gas, and the old rallyes
on it. Going to be less with the Pro Stars on it. Those things are really light.
I think most of what Chrysler called shipping weight was without fluids.

** I have since added an A-body 8-1/4" sure-grip rear axle complete with disc brakes, concours correct Go-Wing rear spoiler, and a couple other small changes. I will re-weigh the car soon.

Still on jackstands, haven't weighed. Told a lie to Chassis Engineering, 3400#. The coil overs hold it up 3" too high, so weight is less (10 point installed).

'72 Duster 340. Heavy frame connectors, 340 4 speed, Lakewood bellhousing, full interior with bench seat, alum heads, AAR hood, 3170 lbs.
