I am sure someone has asked this before, but I would like to know how/where I can find out how many 66 valiant convertibles were made and the different options and colors? Mine is painted mauve and I suspect not many were painted this color. Rare?

Can someone help me?

Thank you.

I use the "Standard Catalog of Chrysler 1924-1990" It lists options, weights, original price, cost of options, production and sales numbers as well.
Production of 66 Valiant convertibles was 2,507, there is no further breakdown like /6 or v8s.

And remember...... Rare does not always equal valuable.

People (mostly in the Mopar world) like to toss out 1 of 1, 1 of 7 or whatever.

Lets say your Valiant was a 1 of 1 car with it's color/option combo..... All that would get you is an interesting story to tell people.

When I bought a 65 Dart 270 wagon the seller in Longview told me it was one out of one. I checked and said to him it was one of 19. I said it was a nice compliment and he all of a sudden lowered the price 200 dollars!! Wish I still had it.
