How much does your 68 Cuda weigh??

I don't have my Cuda together yet to weigh it and I've read differing reports on the weight of them even with the same eng./trans. combo. Mine is a 360/727/8-3/4 car. PS, manual brakes, no AC. Oh yeah, it's a fastback. Anybody got a guess as to the approx. weight? Just curious. I read one article and it said the same basic car (except it had a 340) weighed 3450 and another article said 3800. :scratch: What do you guys think? :?:

The 69 340,727,8 3/4,man. steering, fastback, I had had an actual weight of 3100 lbs. weighed at the local racetrack on acurate scales. The only weight reducing items were Weld wheels, slicks and skinny front tires, aluminum intake, headers and an abreviated exhaust system. It had full stock interior and was all steel.

my 67 has aluminum wheels, no back seat, poly front seats, heat insulator padding (the aluminum backed stuff), a roll bar, all steel body, a 400/727/8 3/4, cast iron exhaust manifolds, aluminum intake

weighed at the local CAT scale, it was 3120, without me in it...

Thanks for the input guys. I knew that 3800 listed by the one article had to be way off. It was either a typo or they got their cars mixxed up and was weighing a charger.

3800 is a lighty Charger. Some of those cars are over 4000

Im hoping my weighs in close to 3100

Yeah your right Adam. 3800 is probably small block territory in a Charger.
