How much oil ???

How much oil does an empty 833 hold or how much should I put in?? Yes I know til it is at the top of the fill hole BUT how much is that???

I think it's a little over 2 quarts, but I won't swear to it.

6.5 pints, is what is called for in the FSM. Use good quality Lucas Gear Oil and it will last 5 years between changes.

The Chysler repair manual says 7 pints.

Seven pints sounds about right. I refilled mine after putting in a new clutch a couple of months back and it started coming out the fill hole when I had approx 1/2 of the 4th qt left.
