Wasn't sure where to put this one; Racing threads at /6.org or the /6 Discussion here. I've been hearing talk of a /6 turning the ¼ in under 14 sec. How could this be? Then I found this photo.

I know of several built /6's that will run 14's and UNDER.
I believe Ron Hamby's '66 Dart will run high 12's in the 1/4-Naturally aspirated. The key is lots of stall, a deep gear (4.56++) and a really good
cylinder head. Oh yeah -Most of the quick /6 cars are 2400 pounds or less.

There's a couple of guys in the 11 second range!!

There is a video of an 11 sec wagon floating around the net if you look. Yes it is turbo...

That looks like a Falcon of some sort....XK to XM????

it looks like a 61-2 ford galaxie probably has a 352 or something, but now it`s got steam power from that cat.

there are a few members on this site who have naturally aspirated slants runnin 13.90s.

My Moto Guzzi Mechanic, Mark Etheridge, from Signal Hill, Calif. has a naturally aspirated /6 that does 11 seconds. Had it timed officially at the Mopar shindig in Las Vegas.
