How do most people preserve these? I was thinking I would Laminate a piece of Poster Board with the sheet on it. Want to keep the history

Do not laminate, that's not how you preserve history.

Store it safe, make a copy to show or read, never handle it. Don't display it in the sun in the car.

Photocopy a few dozen sheets of paper or scan it for display use. Then get a thick plastic sheet protective cover to put the BS sheet in and store it flat in the dark.

I'd love to kill the guys that laminated my 10,000 mile 66 HP2 sheet and the Wife's 3600 mile 67 Formula S sheet!

I scanned my broadcast sheet and window sticker. I then laminated the scanned copies and used them during car shows. Originals were placed in plastic sheets and stored.

I put my original in a clear vinyl sleeve (sheet protectors) and store it in a fireproof lock box with the titles and other important documents. I made copies and put those in a notebook that I can share with others.

I do some archival work with old documents. Look up "archival quality storage supplies". Normal paper and plastic folders and bags off gas chemicals that will eventually destroy the paper and the inks.

put the original in an acid free sheet protector

Scans for everything else.

I had mine for about 5 minutes. Completely disintegrated. I wish I would have first left it in the seat springs, then sprayed it with aerosol clear and then dealt with it from there.
