Just had a question on how much hp a 360 magnum bored .030 over can take. Using an all forged rotating assembly and a main stud girdle with arp studs. Also how thick are the cylinder walls usually on a magnum?

I'am hoping to build it around the one in engine masters challenge around 550hp. But changing a couple things.

I have sonic tested two 360 magnum blocks. I can't remember the numbers but they were much thicker and way more consistent than the std bore 340 and 360 LA blocks I tested. I had one of the magnum blocks bored out .040 and if my memory i correct the block still had over 0.200" thick walls.

thanks I'am planning on checking it myself in my class but wanted to get an estimate first to what to expect.

Does anybody what the least amount of cylinder wall thickness you want over 500hp I've heard nothing under .150. Also what do you guys think about a half fill on the block was thinking of spraying it with a 100to150hp shot.
