Whats the difference between the Ram rod and the Vertigate as far as operation functions? I know looking at them the finger lever is in a different location and style, along with reverse lever location .

The vertigate does not shift as smooth The Ram rod is a way better shifter. The way is it built and the operation is better. Adjusting the shifter on the ramrod is a lot easier. I would not wast my money V gate shifter. I took one out and its hanging on the wall.
