Nice find Mike, Should come in handy on the homestead. Good price too, I have a 82 Power Ram I got for $500 a few years back, Not as nice as yours, but it gets the job done.

Hey Mike, Great find, and will come in handy. Good solid body on it. Up here it would have been a pile of rust by now. Low miles too. Bet it'll tow your boat with no trouble. Now just get that Valiant, and we'll all be happy. Tim

This old truck has been setting awhile.
Everything is where it belongs and it still has the jack and handle under the hood. She is running great oil pressure after an oil change and all lifters have went silent

No rust anywhere except surface.
I will be butting sound deadener and rubber mat in this one.
I will be looking for a steering wheel horn cover for it as well.

Nice find for a nice price! Looks pretty solid too. I'd get a battery hold though. I picked up a universal one for cheap that fit perfect, I think it was from Checker/Advance. Next time I'm in there, I'll get a part number for you.

Other than the hood and 360, what are your plans for this truck? Does the A/C still work? It's a 2WD right? What's the rear end ratio? Does it have a 9 1/4 rear? I'd take a peak and see why the rear bumper is sagging as it should be bolted directly to the frame.

Let's see a pic of the steering wheel, I might have a horn cover for you if it's a 2 spoke. I've got an extra ignition box and ballast resistor too.

It is a four spoke wheel and the rear has a inspection and service cover on the back.
And it is a two wheel drive.
I pulled the bungy cord out of my old truck tool box when it was at the lot and but it on for some hard stop and turn test driving. I will get me a good hold down soon.

pictures And the a/c has know presure, Not working.

Shoot, my horn cover is for a 2 spoke.

Iv'e done the bungee cord thing too, Mike. I'll get you that part number soon.

If the cover looks like a stop sign, it's a 9 1/4. If you feel ambitious, you can check for a tag under a bolt on the cover. It should have the ratio stamped on it.

the tag said 2.9 what gear would that be.

Looks like it is an 8 1/4

Yep, 8 1/4. Not a bad rear really. I wouldn't put a ton of rock in the bed though. Lot's of diffs availible too.

Looks like it's a 2.90 gear, good for gas mileage and about 130 mph @ 5000 rpm with a 28" tire, if you've got the horsepower (and brakes, lol!).

Nice truck memike! What other plans do you have for here?
To make a good driver out of it, And when my Dakota tags run out I will switch them to the 83 ram, I would like to find the two trim parts that are missing!!

Hay ramcharger!! some one put a hook on the bumper and cut it This is why the bumper looks the way it douse.
Some people need supervition :bootysha:
