Today my boy turned 12

We went out for dinner to celebrate and across from us sat a Hispanic couple with a young girl

Me and the boy were chatting and I asked him if he though those were the girls parents or grandparents and he said he didn't know

So I explained to him (tongue in cheek of course) how us white folks don't age very graciously but the darker skinned a person is, the less age seems to effect them
so if he chooses to marry a girl because she looks good, he'd better pick a darker one because they will stay looking good for longer

he looks at me and goes " i like snowboarding"

32 years tomorrow. She's my best buddy, my fishing pal and she loves classic cars. She even very enthusiastically helped me to complete my classic car collection! Not too long ago we sat down and I told her what I wanted to get and she very enthusiastically informed me that we are getting no more cars!! So my collection is complete!!! (I tell this everywhere. She's a good enough sport to put up with it)
