I tried to find the engine break-in forums but could'nt find them. Plain and simple...what oil for a fresh 360 and how much of it. Just tell me a brand and I'll grab it tomorrow. Motor will be put in this Saturday, but not sure when it will actually be fired.

Brad-Penn is what I am using. A little spendy but cheap insurance. Recommended by my engine builder. Very good oil for solid cams with big lifts. If your running a roller cam, may not be as critical. Good luck on the break-in. Just had my motor dyno'd yesterday and all went well.

i run delo 400 15-40w and a quart of lucas oil stabilizer, i have heard that the lucas stuff puts back the zinc/phosphates lost in new oil.
