My wife's little bruther spells wurds exaktly like he heers them.
Basikly like he thinks thay shuld be spelld that way.
I blame alot of it on his famly life as his parents nevr evr read books to him az a kid so he nevr lurnd to read good.
His Dad spells the same exakt way, but is smart as a whip and can dezinne and bild anything out of wood , metal ,plastik you name it.
Just because you can't spell very well does not mean you are stupid, but it does mean you better be good with your hands.
Sounds like you are in a career path of your dreams.
Even if you change types of jobs but keep them in the same field you should be fine with whatever skills you learn from this schooling.
Don't have an attitude that you will be comfortable working for someone else for the rest of your life, have an attitude that you are going to take all you can from the schooling and whatever skills you are strong at and be your own boss some day.
Start you own business doing what you love and make all the profit for yourself.

Though I do not have a problem seeing letter and numbers inverted and such, I'm under the "Use it or loooose it" and damn well lost it from years of not doing anything.

I just tell my daughter to accel in to things. Math and english. Gotta know how to read, write and speak english and know your numbers because it's money!
Yep! thats true. I heard him quoted for 2 things I really like that I subscribe to in everyday use.
1; Write it down. Even the best minds forget and there is enough out there that you CAN nOT remember everything. Even the most brillaiant (sp) and smartest people have to open up a book to find info, why can't you? You'll know where it is? Great, now your as smart as they are. Because you wrote it down and know where to get the info at a moments notice.
Just because you can not recall it instantly doesn't mean you don't know.

Well, he didn't. He just had 5 of the same suites. WHY? it takes extra TIME to THINK about and DECIDE what to put on every mornig. He said (Or in so many words) Screw that, give me 5 of each and I'll just suite up in the morning and look good and off I go without a thought.
OK, that doesn't work so well in collage, but it works grand for me. It's work where I get dirty. Screw screwing up new nice cloths,
