I wake up every morning, and think maybe by now I've seen everything. But then............

That bike is impressive, but the rider is a moron. Running from the cops with NO HELMET on the interstate? This happened just last week in my town, and this kid was just cruising neighborhood streets.

I don’t know about you guys but here we have young kids, teenagers on either electric scooters or bikes that they modify, to do more like 50 mph than the lower that they are legal for plus they race down the foot paths knocking pedestrians down or like one I nearly hit at 3am one morning came straight out of a side street wear dark clothing and no lights, lucky I spotted him or he would have been under my front diff

Well not as scary, but I thought I’d just about seen everything. Yet there it was, a guy with a Ridged shop vac vacuuming his lawn. Did my errand came back past him 3/4 hr latter yup still at it. Made me shake my head.

I had to do that once. Ex-wife dropped her wedding ring somewhere in the back yard, and we couldn't find a metal detector to rent. Took about an hour or so of vacuuming the grass, but we found it.

I bought a 66 formula S Barracuda with no floor pans left. I hid it behind my barn. The next day after work my girlfriend had somehow managed to move it to the front of the barn, the doors were open and she was weed eating inside the car.

I'm not condoning this nonsense, but other than no helmet, what laws was he breaking? Here on the interstate entrance ramps all it says is, "No non motorized vehicles" and " minimum speed 40 MPH". Seems he had both of those covered.

I'm too lazy to search the incident, but maybe the pursuit began somewhere else and he ended up on the interstate? I dunno.

I'm seeing this up here especially with school out. Kids - and I mean LITTLE kids like 10 years old, racing down 50 MPH rural roads on mini bikes, dirt bikes, and the electric scooters and bikes. They are all over the road and way too young/inexperienced to be in traffic. I fear they are inadvertently signing up for the organ donor's club.

Funny you post this was just at my fabricator shop and there is a mountain bike with electric wheel. I asked what are u doing there, shakes his head says i dont want to do it, has sheared the spindle mounts and the parent of the 14 year old wants them welded back on. The bike does over 100km an hour and massive torque all off a frame not designed for it. I have had them pass me wrong side of the road and literally tailgate trucks etc. They are kids with no road sense, yea we had motor bikes etc but we didnt fly down a freeway lane splitting at 14 years old lol But because its an inocent looking mountain bike no one thinks twice about it.

That is a sweet little race engine he got on there. The fat lady midget cop is annoying. Here my mini bike has a harbor freight little engine on it, might go 25mph.

Here’s the mini bike we put together. Just did the 79 cc from HF so it’s pretty slow. But enough to enjoy. Put super bees on the front and back.

I think he needs lights and turn signals.

I'm down here in South Florida. About two weeks ago, I saw 3 or 4 Mini Bikes on a Main Road (3 lanes on each side and lots of traffic) The Mini Bikes were modified, and it looked like they were going about 70 miles per hour weaving in and out. No Helmets, and so dangerous! I hurt myself really bad on Motor Cycles when I was younger, so it makes me nervous to see it.

Girlfriend works in hospital, Hates electric bikes/scooters. Says they are constantly getting people in the ER with head injuries, broken bones etc. Both adults and kids, no helmets and riding like they’re bulletproof.

When I worked in the emergency department at a major rural hospital we used to describe motor bike riders (especially the young unliscenced) as temporary Australian’s or organ donors, then at another major metropolitan ICU I worked in the damage done and the length of recovery time was horrible that is if they would recover at all

Lots of fun for little guys, but at least a pair of jeans, I can remember pushing gravel stones out from under my skin doing same. LoL
lol yeah he only rode it a few times in the culdesac before we moved and hasn’t been ridden since. But yeah if he started riding more and getting more comfortable I would have him put on some pants as well.

Toronto is supposed to be cracking down on e-bikes and e-scooters. Believe it when I see it. I have personally seen an idiot on a Segway driving down the DVP. Others have posted videos of idiots riding e-bikes on the frickin 401.

Just had a friend in his upper 60's crash on his e-bike. Probably doing about 25-30 mph. Bruised ribs, broken rib, punctured lung, multiple contusions, and a 3 day (so far) hospital stay. Good example of 'just because you can does not mean you should."
