I've read that the later Swingers have larger wells than the early cars. Just how much wheel/tire can I stuff in there?

Planning on keeping the front wheels/tires as they are and considering 15s for the back.

I used a USCT spring relocation kit and mini tubbed the rear, I have 325/50 r15's

Back half it, narrow the rear, install ladders or a four link, coilover shocks, and you too can get these under your car, like mine.
Wait. Not really helpful I suppose.

The 8 3/4 rear end is. It narrowed is it stock width

Okay, seriously:
If you don't want to move anything, by that I mean the springs or the tubs, you MIGHT get a 255/60x15 under it, with EXACTLY the right backspace.
But I'll bet a 235/60 will fit better.
Since these cars vary a bit, you'll need to measure YOUR car to find out for sure what will fit.

I used the 15x8 4 5/8" backspace from Wheel Vintiques. Last I look in their catalog, they don't do that wheel anymore.

The later Dart's have the same wheel tubs as the early cars. It seems like there's some small variation in the quarters that meant that the 67-69 cars are slightly narrower in the back than the 70+ cars, but the same wheel tubs are used for the whole run so it would just be an assembly difference.

With the springs in the stock location the best you're going to do is a 255/60/15, and that's not a guarantee either. Backspace has to be perfect, and it still won't work on everything. A 245/60/15 would be a safer bet.

Your '74 either has a 7.25 or 8.25 if it has the stock rear axle, and those axles are narrower than the 8 3/4's were, so be careful using backspace recommendations from someone with an A-body 8 3/4, especially one that's been converted to 5x4.5" with the large bolt pattern axles/brakes. A 15x8 with 4.5" of backspace is probably the absolute widest wheel you can get away with, and that backspace will put the tire very close to the springs if you've got a 7.25/8.25" rear axle. Because a 255 is the widest you can go with the stock spring locations a 15x7" is a better bet.

That must look killer. I'm not wanting to cut the car though.
Chris, it's not even what I'd call cutting the car up. Although yes, cutting is required to do it, but what you're really doing is doing what Chrysler should have done in the first place. IT's a great mod to do and one I may even end up doing to Vixen. I haven't made my mind up yet.

My '71 Dart GT has the factory 8 3/4" rear end with ManciniRacing 2800lb springs in the stock location(s).

The car had 225/70R14s on 14" X 5 1/2" factory Rallye wheels.

Currently it has 245/60R15s on 15" x 7" WheelVintiques Rallye wheels (4 1/4" back space). My car has room for 255/60R15s (next time).

I had the Dart home today to work on an exhaust leak (subject for another thread, I suppose) and measured the rear wheel wells. Right at 11-3/4" on each side, measuring at the back of the tire with the car on the ground.

Not true. The wheel houses are the same size 1967-76.

Yeah....This Dart of mine had 15 x 8s from Wheel Vintiques, I don't recall the exact back spacing but I thought it was almost 5". The axle is a 68 B body 8 3/4. Those are 255-60-15s too. They fit and cleared.
