I wonder what happened to this Barracuda?

My wife found this strange 65 while looking at color patterns (She loves that crap). It's some kind of promo car. Anybody seen this before? Imagine stripping your car down and finding this.

The picture comes from a post card made by Chrysler of Canada Ltd. to showcase the color offerings. Maybe the copper was not available in Canada.

Top car is a painting/drawing.

Bottom car was real.

Notice they have different colors front to back and different wheels.

If that was a "program" or prototype car, it was probably destroyed eventually.

Most all of the prototype development cars get crushed. They are modified and worked on and tested that if they sold them and they failed or someone got seriously hurt or killed, the company can get sued. So, sadly to say most or all prototype cars get destroyed or crushed when they are done with them.
