How can I identify the grind of a 340 Purple Cam?

Dial indicator and degree wheel.

Purple shafts didn't come with numbers or other identifiers..

So, as Rusty says,, you need a dial indicator, and degree wheel to measure lift/duration.. then compare to chart below..
