Try 65 dodge dart hood in the parts book.
I could sware I have seen the same on 68 darts but I couldn't find an example you would thing that the only 68 darts made were GTS!

1970 Dart deck lid emblem has 2 pins.

Based on the part number starting with 28 its first usage would have been in 1968. With that being said it could have also been used in subsequent year.
Dodge Monaco , 68 model maybe

It’s a ‘70 Swinger trunk badge
Mine is a 4-dr custom.
Here is a 70 340 Swinger
Correct moparmarks only the "340 equipped Swingers got that trunk badging (70-72)
2839928 was used on the 1968 Dodge Polara. Look in 1968 parts catalog in section 23. It is on ill. page 23-261 #17.
Also you will find many 28..... numbers in the 1967 parts catalog. Just look in the numerical index in the 1967 catalog.

Great thanks for the info. I don't have a parts book or I would have looked in there. I will update my info. By the looks of the picture Moparmark posted it should fit the 70 dart deck lid as well. It wouldn't be the first time I have seen that over the years. I have a rectangular "sport" emblem that fits a 68 Satellite & then used many years later on a Ramcharger.

I seen some on eBay, they list the emblem fitting the hood and trunk of a 1970 Dart…both emblems have 4 mounting studs…
Some additional information:
#3504199 is the part number for the 70-71 Dodge name plate. In 1973 Chrysler superseded 2839928 and 3504199 to a single number 3680384. The new number was held on by a peel off adhesive strip instead of pins.

Yup, '68 Polara trunk.
Okay this is kind of weird. The books shows the 2839928 2-pin for 68 Polara and 3504199 for 70 Dart deck lid. I have the 928 that I took off of my 70 Dart and along with another one from another 70 Dart.
The book shows 2786482 for the 70 Dart hood 4-pin which I have 4 all from Darts.

If I remember correctly my ‘73 Dodge Van had one on the right rear door.
I just picked up this 70 Dart last week and it also has the same 928 deck lid emblem.
