idler arm question

My idler arm has a bunch od play (up and down in the pocket) Are there shims that go in the Kframe ? All I have is the foam gasket.

Yes, there should be 2 washers that go top and bottom of the idler arm sleeve to take up slack.

Yup what he said. I know with out them the arm is very sloppy.

I third that.....you can get them at the hardware store.

Yes, what they said. Bring the idler & arms bolt and and make sure there not to wide. The gasket may be a good ref. to bring along as well.

I have a tool box draw full of washer and a drill press. I'll find or make something.
