I have a 72 dart swinger and there is a switch right above the ignition switch with 2 wires attached to it and when the key is inserted a lever pops up and pushes a spring loaded arm up. The question I have is this for a buzzer indicating that the key is still in the ignition when you open the door or is it something else. i need to know before I put the column back together because one of the little plastic pins that holds the arm in place broke and it is not centered over the arm that pops up when the key is inserted. I have a picture of the part in question. Thanks
