Anybody have one or both of these items they’d be willing to part with? It’s a champion 22” radiator in a 69 Dart. I just built a 408 for it and want to ditch the cheap flex fan

This is what I got
The shroud should fit just fine, the fan (which has no clutch, but can be mounted to one) is a tight fit and I'm not sure if they would work well together

Let's say 50 plus shipping?

(And d ont be surprised if a mod moves this to the "parts wanted" section)

thanks bob, good to know
and that answers the question that has been bugging me...if the fan fits, and the shroud fits, why isnt it on my duster?

now we know

I have an A-Body fan with clutch, if you still need one PM me

FYI, I used a 3 core 22" Champion with a 16 " electric fan mounted to the radiator and no fan bolted to the factory water pump on my 68 Barracuda 416. I cools great.

I tyried that on my 505 to styart with, it didn`t keep it cool, went to a mech belt drivern fan w/ a booster in front , now adequate, but would still like a hair better. Maybe ur 416 isn`t way up there in h.p., it creates more heat.

How tall is the clutch, and how old (or used ) ? I have figured out I can run a 2947 that's 2.71 inches tall, but it would put my fan way to far in the shroud, causing me to build a new one. I had to special build the one on it now.

Compare apples to apples. The OP has a 408, similar to my 416, which is a solid roller with Indy heads, 950 HP carb and 10.7 CR so it ain't stock.

I have an 18” clutch fan with the 2947 clutch and 22” fan shroud. Let go cheap. Let me know if your interested.

Sounds great, but approx. 500 or so h.p. is easier to cool than approx. 723 , was my point.

Let me get the rascals off to school and I post some pics.

Here’s the Hayden 2765 bolted to the 18” fan and also the Hayden 2947 fan clutch along with the 22” fan shroud.
