... arrived.
Nice looking heads prepped by Shady Dell. Haven't got the flow sheet as yet, but I'm sure the numbers will be up there. Poor pictures, but they give a decent representation of the port size. The iron head is '452 b/b piece.

Ports are huge. The int. widow is 2.4X1.375", with a 2.15" valve.

keep us posted on how you like them im thinkin about geeting a pair of indys

The 245's are not for the faint of heart. The valve and the huge ports demand lots of cubes and piston size. A 4.07" and up would be the jump-off point. I'm currently looking for a siamese block. Cam lift, I'm told should be in the neighbourhood of .695-.725" lift. That's to get the full potential of their flow.

they do look like some very serius heads! what kind of rockers are available for those?

Far as I know, there are 3 choices.
1. Indy. Which are questionable for high lift.
2. T@D. Which I bought. But they are expensive. These are well engineered with maximum thickness about everywhere. Excellent oiling to the pushrod tip area.
3. Jessel. More expensive, but again. You get what you pay for.............
