if its not in stock, or thru another local dealer in the area,.....they should be able to get it to you in a day or two depending on closest depo.

I've got the new style pan gasket. Pan is d-o-n-e. Tried metal work and beating the rail, still get a 50 cent piece leak overnight.... Dealer wants $50 for the stock pan. Little steep as far as I'm concerned.

Call a local recycler. I think the 90s-early 2000s OD versions use the same type of pan.

call John at CRT (cope racing trans)

he may have an exention laying around or a used pan you could have. & i'm sure he could tell you the best way to stop them from leaking

I was sure it was my pan/gasket. After four tries on changing the pan gasket I finally replaced the o-ring on the dip stick tube. It's amazing to me how a leak could be coming from higher up and collecting on the pan and I just could not see it.

Other leaks on my trans included the tail shaft seal, the o-ring on the shifter cable (1965) and the seal on the speedometer gear. After I replaced the dip stick o-ring I was finally dry.

Also, the torque spec on the pan bolts is very low. It's pretty hard not to over tighten them.

snug and a 1/4 turn on the bolts, run a straightedge along the pan and hammer it out where some dummy overtightened the bolts......problem solved

I have a stock 904 pan you can have or a deep one without the extension I would take $30 and freight for. Going to Indy this weekend maybe I can find a cheap extension.
