I just ordered a stripe kit and plan to install it myself I was hoping for some tips and measurements etc..

Also need to install the duster fender emblems and hoping to get close to the factory location and wondering what the best drill bit is and size

Thanks

try mopar muscle mag about 3 or 4 months ago. They were showing how they done it. I put the one on my swinger, but it was just across the rear end not down the side.

I will be doing this in the future.......subscribed!!!

Line up the trunk lid gapes to the rear quarter, make sure the trunk opens and closes make sure all adjustments are made before putting the strip on.
I would put both quarter strips on first, then match the top stripe on each end.

Spray on windex first (or other glass cleaner) where the stripe will be going then apply the stripes. You can use masking tape to help hold in place while aligning. Once they are where you want them, use a squeegee to gently remove the glass cleaner from under the stripes. The plastic ones that come with bondo kits work well. Once the excess liquid is removed and there are no bubbles you can use a heat gun to gently dry the stripe and remove paper that's on top of them.
Just go slow and take your time, the glass cleaner allows you to slide the stripes around so they are nice and straight.
These pictures may help explain. (BTW, that's not me in the pictures LOL)

I'm about to do the same here. I though the 73' stripe was 3 individual stripes.
