I am going to assemble my 360 in the next week or so. My question is, I have A choice of two intakes for the engine. One is a LD4B that has been ported for 360 heads. The other is a Wieand Stealth. Which one would be the best intake for my engine? The engine is a stock 360 bored .030 with kb107 pistons, The heads are lightly ported Js with 2.05 valves. The cam is Comp 268, trans is automatic 727 stock converter, 8 3/4 rearend with 3:91 gear.
I think that either intake will work. What I do not know is which one is the best choice.

Agreed. And your cam is way to small. I'd start looking at a cam rated @ 050 @ 230* min. That 218* @ 050 is a small one.

That'll certainly work too. The ports are a compromise in size and work really well.

Fine for how it is. The cam and converter match up well. The stock converters stall low and the cam is in that range.

From those 2 choices the stealth..if you want the "best" go with the Edelbrock airgap...

Either intake will work. Likely isn't a 3-5hp swing from one to the other.

Once you get the jetting quirks of the stealth figured out, it works good.

One PIA with both the LD4b and stealth is no provision for coil mounting.
