anyone know if a Victor manifold will be ok to use on my 440 swap and keep the original hood with the 2 air scoops? 71 Demon

I'm trying to break through to see what kind of car you have, but it's not comin through.

That's a pretty tall intake!
I have one (actually a super victor) that I can measure if that helps. But to be honest.... I doubt it will fit with a flat hood. A B engine version would have a better chance.
Mines going in a b-body with a raisin bran scoop, so I have room.

Probably won't fit with a stock hood. With a stock hood you probably need to limit yourself to a M1 intake or a Performer RPM. You can cheat a little bit by using a thin aftermarket air cleaner.

I’ve had the Super Victoria and the original M1 on the dyno back to back and they made with in two or three numbers from 3000 to 6500 rpm. The Super Victoria made a couple more hp on the top end and the M1 made a couple more numbers before 5500.
This was all on a 650 hp 440.
I like the looks of the Victor but the original M1 has a much easier fit especially under the hood with no noticeable power loss and better filter options.

I`ve got a polished victor on my 440/505 in a 68 fastback , the throttle body is up in the hood / even up in the 6 pack scoop...jfyi i have had my polished weiand on it that flowed (after work) almost as good as the victor , i wouldnt think twice about running it , ecxcept for the hassle of changing the throttle linkage again , as I always pretty much make my own...
