If you have 20 minutes to spare, I thought this was a pretty interesting take from a designer's point of view. Maybe it's the black exterior but it took me a while to realize this is a 4 door. Obviously Exner used 1960 Valiant "highlights" on the 1962 B bodies. It's kind of surprising but I can't think of another manufacturer that ever went down the asymmetrical road except on race vehicles.

That is a beautiful car, but I wouldn't really want one...
 
They looked really, really UGLY when they first came out..................................................................But now they are sexy and beautiful.

Fact that it's a four door hardtop (vs. sedan) is probably the main reason it took you a bit to realize it's a four door. Another is that in 62, two doors and four doors, hardtops and sedans, all used the same roof. Only convertibles and station wagons were different.
