I've got a column shift steering column from my 65 Valiant. I wan't to restore it to at least a decent working condition. The pot coupling is seeping and needs a new seal. The parking cable housing needs to be fixed, it has a stripped bolt to the access hole. And I want to just touch up the column. I've got the factory 65 Plymouth service manual. I did rebuilt the automatic column shift column on my 73 Charger which wasn't as complicated as this one because it used rods for the automatic and not these cables like on my 65 Valiant. I know I'm missing the reverse switch too, but I didn't even see an operating lever as shown in the Plymouth service manual. Is this column rebuild going to be easy or hard?

Sorry I cannot answer your question but I have a 65 valiant column with column shift if you want it, as its the shell only-no center rod to save on shipping

let me know if you want it...as I have no use for it and could be a spare for yours
