Is there any company that reproduces the trim clips for a 1967 Dart GT ?

I need the clips for the quarter panels but if I actually try to remove the trim on the doors and fenders, those may crumble too.

I have not seen these listed anywhere but maybe I just haven't looked hard enough. Do you know of any company that makes them?

Generally there is a clip that while not like the original it can be made to work... Not familiar with the clip used for that application so I can't say with any certainty...

I'll have to call them. They show nothing on their website. Same with PG Classics, Year One and Classic Industries.

Yes, we have a local paint supply house that carry’s those clips.

521 resorations?

What's the size compared to ones used on a 66/67 Charger or 66 Satellite?

Thanks, John. I'd be surprised to learn that these are something so simple and universal that a paint store has them. I hesitate to remove the trim to even take a look at the design of the clips for risk of not being able to get to stay back on.

If you can't find original style clips you might have to use a clip like this.

I guess the only sure way to know is to put my eyes on what is available and see if I can make it work.

I needed rear trim clips for my Barracuda.
Went to my local auto body paint shop, bought clips that fit the trim, as I didn't have clips at all.

Used the same clips on the front of my 62 Dodge.

Bought other clips from them as well.

It's nice when you can put your hands on something and test fit on the spot.

Be nice to see what the original clips look like.... Some trim clips bolt through the panel, some screw to the panel, some attach to posts welded to the body.... No idea how that particular trim was attached...

Zero chance I would repaint the car without removing the trim...

I didn't find anything listed specifically for your car at Mr. G's Enterprises, but maybe they have something that's close enough for government work. :D

They have many types of mould clips (plastic and metal types), as well as miscellaneous retainers.

In some cases, there are steel spring clips held in with nuts on the edge of the door trim and rectangle plastic clips in the areas where access isn’t good like the quarter panels or inside the doors. This is what I see:

It measures .75 x .52 and has rounded edges.
