Is this the fitting I need to connect to the OEM brass fitting at the tranny and the radiator?

Jack, those won't connect direct to the brass fittings on the trans and the radiator. Those are meant to connect to a hard line by means of a compression sleeve - you'd need to cut the existing hard line and then use these to connect your braided line to the hard line stubs.
 
Wrong part Jack, that one is for a hard line! On the radiator end though you'll need another 2 fittings to go between the new hose end and rad.
