Budget build on a 72 340 and would like to replace the 8.5:1 pistons with 10.5:1 from the earlier 340. Located in Michigan. What is available? Picture is of the low comp 72 piston currently in my motor.

These are available if interested.

Those look like the OE 72-73 pistons at 8.5:1 compression. What is your asking price?

I have a set of 70's that are out of my race car when it was new
and nice shape with pins = you must use 340 floating rods I think to
use them (not sure)
$100.00 plus the ride

I'm on the opposite side of the "fence", but if you can figure a way of getting them to you, they could fit your budget.

Thank you to everyone who commented. I was lucky enough to find some locally within budget and are already installed on rods with new rings. There will be more stuff needed for this build.

thanks again.
