I was going to bolt up my A518 transmission to my Magnum 5.0, no stroked, All Eagle and internal balanced, B&M flex plate but, the torque converter has weights welded to it and the weights are thicker than the 4 bolt mounts...GEE! I wanted to get this done. My question is do I need the TC weights when my 360 is internal balanced? I'd love to take them off if I can
Thanks......almost beer time:happy1:

LOL,,,,Thanks.....I meant 5.9,,,,LOL. That's Nasty Mustang numbers....LOL. So if the engine is internaly balanced there should be "NO" weights on the torque converter. Why arwe they there?
Brad J.A.F.O....LMAO

the older 360s were externally balanced and needed the weights on the converter.

Other than the two big weights on the mounting side. I found this little weight on the other side of the starter gear. Does the little weight stay or go? Thanks again for you help on this one. Brad
