It is a blast Mike. I have trouble fitting in it with my size but will be perfect for her. Got the hacksaw out at my shop this morning and started mod process for better mileage hacking up stock milk jug air intake. Gotta help giving her some more air to breath.:cheers:

I'm not hung up on names. The old school cars are all gone anyways. Ford-GM--Chrysler-- its all the same to me.
The old cars were different but today the cars are pretty much alike.
I don't think you can buy a brand new car for $30,000 that will break down in the first few years. They all will start right up and run smooth day after day till they get over 100,000 miles.
We got a 2008 Saturn to replace the 1992 Olds, both have a V6, both get me 21 mpg, I'm happy, I get 11 mpg with the Dodge-but feel much safer in the old Dodge.
The way prices are today--$30,000 gets you a Buick with a 4 banger--forget that, why we got a 2008 Saturn for under half the $30,000

One thing you gotta give credit to Ford is they never pulled the Bankruptcy BS to cheat their investors--suppliers---they did cut benefits to their retirees but that was more to stay competitive.
If I had to buy brand new--Ford Motor would get my money long before GM or Chrysler would--now they are earning billions, too bad they were deadbeats on paying their old bills.
I could earn millions every year if I could pull what GM or Chrysler pulled off. Get billions and pay off 10% of it

Must admit we test drove a new Focus recently & wife loved it but with my retirement nearing wanted to avoid a new car payment. They are very well optioned & comfortable for the price though.
