researched and numbers come up to an AMC 290 304 343 390 401 V-8
see below and click on the catalog
http://www.englecams.com/

K56H is the grind number....AMC uses the same 904 lifter diameter as Mopar. So an AMC V8 can use the same lobe rate as Mopar. Thats what the similarity is.

The cam I'm selling is correct for small block mopar. Notice the cam card says MoparA, meaning LA small block. And notice the grind number is K56H just like for the amc engine.
The distributor for an AMC 401 series engine is at the front, mounted on the timing chain cover. Here is an example:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/AMC-401-V8-Stroker-Engine-421CI-/331112452034

The Jack Engle cam I'm selling has the distributor gear at the rear of the camshaft, because the cam is for a small block MOPAR. The K56 is the cam GRIND number common to any engine that can run a 904 lifter diameter.

Here is some cam discussion on the CudaChallenger forum concerning Engle K56 cams for Small block MOPAR:
http://www.cuda-challenger.com/cc/index.php?action=search2

Notice the cam I'm selling is a single pattern K56 cam, but you could have Engle make anything you want, single or dual pattern, with the FAST lobe rates to go with 904 lifters

I hope I have cleared up the question. Please feel free to ask more questions.
Thanks for the concern, but the cam I'm selling is for MOPAR.
Phil

Nice step up from a typical 268 cam, especially if you have a mildly ported set of heads.
