Jeep rear discs on an 8 3/4 axle solution

im gonna check the bone yard for the brackets for this swap. i like it

i agree what he said. i want to do this mod to my 73 street/strip big block dart. my car has a 8-3/4 with aftermarket 30 spline moser axles with 5/8 studs and green bearings. mopar65
 
Since starting this thread how many miles have you put on this setup? How has the breaking performance been? Have the spacers held up? This is really a great thread!
 
no spacers on mine. haven't been counting miles but its been about a year and no problems to speak of. excellent performance once I got the proportioning valve set up right. Stops on a dime.
 
I see you have the 8.25 rear end. I got an 8.75 so it looks like I will use BlueMissile's method. Thanks for the info. I like the fact that you used the big front brakes as well. Been thinking of that upgrade too.
